TCI Tricone bits offer a variety of carbide inserts such as spherically shaped inserts for very hard rock or conically shaped inserts for softer rock. The number of rows of inserts is directly related to the type of application and the size of hole to be drilled. There are also open and sealed bearings available as well as three types of shirttail protection to choose from.
Cutting Structure:
The wear resistance of teeth is enhanced with premium tungsten carbide hardfacing on the tooth surfaces for steel tooth bit. The durability of premium tungsten carbide inserts is improved with new formulas and new techniques for insert bit.
Gauge Structure:
Multiple gauge protection with gauge trimmers on the heel (in the outer row)and gauge inserts on the gauge surface of the cone, tungsten carbide and hardfacing on the shirttail increases gauge holding capacity and bearing life.
Bearing Structure:
High precision journal bearing with two thrust faces. Balls lock the cone.Hardfaced head bearing surface.Cone bearing inlaid with friction-reducing alloy and then silver-plated.Abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the bearing are improved, and suitable for high rotary speed.
Seal and Lubrication:
Premium HNBR O-ring, optimal seal compression and curved seal structure can enhance the seal performance. The pressure compensator system and advanced grease can greatly increase the lubricating reliability.
Product Application:
It can receive high WOB in the conventional drilling. It is suitable for various formations by matching cutting structure with different tooth shape, tooth density and tooth exposure height.

Pilot Bit - the first form: with the octagonal connection which passes the torque, prevents damage or seizure of the thread connection, facilitating disassembling of the pilot bit. the second form:without the octagonal connection.

3. Soil reamer - Extrusion Reamer,Fluted-type Reamer,Ripping Reamer
Specification : Φ200-2000mm
Extrusion Reamer: suitable for soft soil formation.
Fluted-type Reamer: suitable for quicksand, soil, backfill and multi-stone formation.
Ripping Reamer: Suitable for relatively hard soil or relatively great viscous clay or mudstone.
Reamer Material: made from superior alloy steel undergone strict heat treatment, which effectively enhances impact resistance, pull force, torsional force and wear resistance.

5. Rock Reamer
I We can customize Φ280-1500mm sized cone-type rock reamers, as per customers' demands.
Features:
1. The cone has a reasonable tilting angle and its palm embedded with reinforced alloy to prevent premature wear of the palm;
2. With the cone anti-dropout technology, to maximally prevent hole accidents caused by cone body dropout after damages of bearings.
3. The front of the drill bit has a pilot block or pilot ring,to ensure better effects of piloting and slag removal.
4. Timely cooling should be ensured in welding process to prevent damage to the tooth from overheating.
5. Selection of the most suitable tooth profile based on the different formations to improve the construction efficiency.
